Queer Cozy Mysteries
When I’m looking for a relaxing mystery read, I turn toward cozy mysteries. These mysteries do not have gratuitous sex or violence (the murders happen off the page). One of my favorite types of cozy mysteries are queer cozy mysteries that feature an LGBTQ cast of characters. As of this writing, all of these titles are owned by the Davenport Public Library. Always Raining Here by Hazel and Bell
When choosing my latest read, I went to my trusty list of webcomics. I found Always Raining Here! Always Raining Here: A Graphic Novel written and illustrated by creative duo Hazel and Bell is a standalone adaptation of the webcomic of the same time. This graphic novel is adorably awkward about two teenage boys who start out as strangers and slowly, maybe, become something more.
